Clever Endeavor is a Youth Organization that’s committed to empowering the lives of children in the the Triangle Area by providing them with mentorship that we believe is important to be the leaders of tomorrow. We are so proud of all of our mentees, and we look forward to many more years of working with the youth in our Triangle Area communities!
Meet Our First Star Mentee Winner: Kayden A!
4th grader, and McDougle Elementary school student, Kayden A is our Star Mentee Award Winner for this year, because she worked very hard throughout our program to really learn about the five C's of our positive youth development model. She exuded confidence, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to her fellow mentees during our program. Most notably, she was able to do all of this while balancing a successful season with her soccer team!! We are all confident that Kayden will grow up to make a positive contribution to the world around her. In her spare time, she loves to draw, read, and spend time outdoors. She says she joined Clever Endeavor because it sounded fun, and her favorite thing to do in our program was to listen to the scenarios and answer questions related to the scenarios during her breakout sessions with her mentors. In her words, she said she liked Clever Endeavor because "I am so happy that this program was created for us." We are so proud of you Kayden and good luck on all of your future endeavors!
Meet Our Second Star Mentee Winner: Sadie M!
Sadie M is a 5th grader at Carrboro Elementary and is our Star Mentee Award winner for our second program! Her mentors have said that she was very engaged with the material and always brought new perspective to the breakout session room discussions with her mentors and fellow mentees. She wrote very thoughtful journal entries and was very in-tune with the five C's of the positive youth development model! We at Clever Endeavor are so proud to have mentored you Sadie! We truly believe that you are going to make a positive contribution to your community and will grow up to be a very successful person! Keep up the good work!
Her favorite hobbies include running and playing the piano. When asked about why she wanted to do Clever Endeavor and what she liked about it, she responded "I wanted to do Clever Endeavor because it sounded interesting, fun, and useful. I liked how many of the skills that we learned in the program could be used in everyday life and are really helpful." We couldn't agree more Sadie! We thank you so much for your participation, and good luck on your future endeavors!
