The Five C's
Empowering Young Minds
Our program is based on the 5 C's articulated by Richard Lerner, a professor or Human Development at Tufts University, and other researchers who have been active in the field of Youth Development. The 5 C's, along with the 6th C of Contribution all comprise the Positive Youth Development Model, a model that emphasizes the developmental potential of youth. When implemented in youth programs, the positive youth development model directs youth to be positive beings in their community and schools.
